2013, the Clutha helicopter crash, sure I read a provisional report on the incident a couple of months back, would seem the pilot fu#ked up a fair bit, kept trying to fly to his planned destination when low fuel warning lights were on and procedure says he should have landed immediately, think the lights came on when he was still in the Edinburgh area sone forty odd miles from his planned landing site in Glasgow so he was pushing it a bit,,, plus there was still fuel in one of the tanks, but the pilot was drawing fuel from the one that was about to run out. There was also a technical issue, helicopters designed that one engine should run out of fuel first and the other run on for a further five minutes or so, a sort of final warning to get the thing on the ground, would seem second engine cut our shortly after the first one...
