This weeks cheapest return flights

Cheapest flights at the moment seem to be about £280. 280 X 180, thats a small plane, feckers are taking over £50k a flight.    Jeez, where can I buy 737........

Just checked out the Thomson site, some flights next week as cheap as £117 from Gatwick. Thats more like it, sensible prices.

£97 on Sunday from Gatwick. Thomson. The pilot of the BA jet that crashed, sorry caught fire in LA says he is quitting flying NOW   Due to retire this month anyway. If I was in charge of BA i would sack the Kent without a pension. What a fecking ungrateful arsehole.

 On 22 August 1985, the flight was being flown by Boeing 737–236 G-BGJL, when take-off from Manchester Airport was aborted due to engine failure on take-off.
The aircraft, had 131 passengers and six crew on the manifest. At 06:12 BST during the takeoff roll, a loud thump was heard. An engine failure had generated a fire and a plume of black smoke ensued. Takeoff was aborted, with both pilots oblivious of the fire to the engine on the left wing. Passengers who could see the fire started to evacuate the aircraft, with 82 of the 131 passengers escaping. 54 passengers perished, many due to inhalation of toxic smoke which had seeped into the fuselage.^[1]

Good job the plane was only half full then eh? Brings back memories of that Concorde flying along with flames spouting out the back in Paris. Personally I would have ditched that in the Seine, or a reservoir. Then again I'm not a pilot............
Yesterday I was cutting the grass and the blade fell off, bolt fecked so thought I would weld it on. Laid it on its side, petrol tank uppermost obviously but some oil must have come out as suddenly it was in flames!   Blowing on it didn't seem to have the desired effect so I dowsed it with the garden hose, not necessarily the best course of action but hey, a new one will be £150! Luckily the flames went out and even more surprising it still works.......... All this happened about 20 ft from my campervan, the door was open. Whats just inside the door? A proper kosher fire extinguisher!  Never mind, I'll save that for next time.

Well our plans were to disappear today, but  Annie's dad ended up in hospital. So that was put to a stop, good news after a MRI scan they suspect gallstones is the prob,,, so next window for us is 15th Nov,..

Oh, sorta won argument  with insurance company, when it's finalised I'll post...

even with the collapse of russians in tenerife (down 60%) i cant see the flights from northern europe getting better until the summer when they can make changes to cope with ppl not going to ISLAM.com

Well booked flights earlier today (Thursday), decision been a bit hard to do, her (Annie) dads health, well he had an op on Tuesday, they finally decided it was gallstones that were causing all his infections so hopefully he's ok, plus Annie's health and insurance implications were also a concern, but she's had pressure from work to get holiday dates put in, so it's out Friday 13th and back Tuesday 24th, eleven days, flights total £262 so that's about £65 each each way, but then the bag (one), that's another £22 each way so that totals £306, or £76 each each way...

So just need somewhere to get the head down now,,, looking at all options, apoartment, hotel, just bed or all inclusive, as long as it's cheap and clean, must be Los Cris/PDLA and central...

So again, answers on a postcard...

Oh, them flights are with Thompsons from Manchester, cheapest we found were a few days back, roughly same dates, Ryanair £202 total plus whatever a case would have cost, but could book fur to concerns over Annie's dads health...

Ryanairs new site, sack it, assumes everyone wants to fly to Dublin, and Thompson, again not the easiest to understand,,, keep it simple,,, from, to, dates, how many, price...

Yeah, Thomson site has changed. I used to click on Flight Deals which showed the cheapest flights from everywhere but the facility as changed. Looks like you are out same time as me so look forward to a beer or two then........
