the ECB  reserves (that is money in the bank )are 672 billion inc 373 billion in GOLD 
the germans  alone,nothing to do with the euro have 3,400 tonnes in the bank vaults (uk has 300 tonnes of gold reserves) 
greece GDP 0.3 gets €50 billion and has to sell all its ports etc ..
gemany is 6.2 , eurozone is 22  uk 4.7

GDP of germany alone is 3,730,261 million euros
GDP of greece is 242,230
GDP of  Connecticut  state is 243,386

you might get cheap holiday 2 weeks of the year but 50% of your imports are in euros so you pay more 50 weeks of the year ..
