Is it quicker to use the new section of motorway to Santiago del Teide and turn down via Tamaimo to get to Los Gig or would you be just as quick going the old way via San Juan and Alcala? I suspect that the old way is quicker. And while I'm on the subject, that TF1 ends pretty sharpish if you are travelling from the north back to Adeje. The road isn't finished yet. I was belting along when suddenly I was in a 40 kmph zone and a 90 degree bend bringing me back onto the old road.

Think it is much of a muchness so down to preference - I would always go the old way, as I quite like nosing in the towns.
