The 3 lady's in my life are being extra nice this morning, Just been informed we are going shopping, I feel faint already, Dont know weather to fake a dizzy turn, But i think they would leave me behind and phone a taxi, more expense, Bugger it, I may get that leaf blower too,

Re: Saturday shopping
Going to Morrisons on Fridays dumb too I reckon, go mid week is best, but not when the schools kick out. There is a Morrisons in Downham Market but its full of old people getting in the way. They are building one in Wisbech, hope they sell steak and kidney puddings. Asdas have stopped selling bean sprouts so its time to go elsewhere, probably selling some polish crap instead. Bit like Mercadona selling fresh milk just for the benefit of Brit immigrants. This is beginning to sound like a Henry blog, hang on, if I change some of the words.........

Re: Saturday shopping
Will only go to morrisons if we fall in the door at 8am, Janets day off friday, Tesco are building a massive store near us soon, So will give that a try, I like to do my bit, So being in the cafe for 8am i get the best window seat, Nice crisp paper to scan, Or even a magazine if one takes my fancy, I get two delivered also, Just to keep an eye on classic prices, Then when she has loaded the car up i drive her home, Yes i know i spoil her, But she makes a grand cup of tea, And can wheel 2 suitcases at once when we go away, So its give and take,

Re: Saturday shopping
Yes Reg thats the way to do it. Patsy has to work full time to keep my life style up so sometimes I have to do womens stuff. Not as much as Mary does though, sometimes I lift an iron if I'm in Tenerife alone. I might paint the railings on my balcony next week, did I mention that I am going on Wednesday?

Re: Saturday shopping
I've got some ordinary gloss out there anyway. Good idea though. Think it was about 8 years ago I last did it and only a couple of rusty bits, curtains need mending too, the top bits come undone. Thats enough work for one week then, just time left for a few jars.........

Re: Saturday shopping
Yeah, Trish can't cut hair either Reg. I thought women were supposed to be hard-wired to do that sort of thing...you know, like washing and cooking and ironing type things. Weird.

Cheers Cru but its only the tape bit come away, 5 minutes with a needle and cotton. Probably take longer to take them down. Thinking about it I might even wash em, how domesticated am I? Last time I was over Jack the barman was giving people haircuts in Sundowners, free it was. He asked me if I wanted one but luckily I didnt need it!

Re: Saturday shopping
We had one near our school, Mad Jack he was called, The teachers took you if you was a skint member, One lad knew he was going to get hauled off to jacks, His dad was in prison and they were skint, Anyway he torched the barbers shop, But because he did the schools they let him set up in the boys cloakroom, Poor sod he was gutted with the haircut, You know how cruel kids can be, Oi Smithy you had the council round,

Re: Saturday shopping
We got ours cut when we were little by my great uncle. Long gone now, he used a pair of mechanical hand held clippers. Used to leave us bleeding all over the place. Mum used to wonder why we didn't want to go.
These were the culprits...
