Dont panic Minty, if they are 40 quid on Friday now they wont be much more for the following days. Be sure you put returns into the search though, sometimes they are mega cheap going out and sillly coming back. I use the Thomson site usually but thats very much last minute for the cheapies.

Yip, this it's the important line in that article:-
"The EHIC also covers you for treatment of pre-existing medical conditions"
Having a bit of an argument with one insurance company at the moment who advertise holiday insurance that covers pre existing conditions, but when you tell them what your condition is they say they can't provide cover due to it... THE ONLY FECKIN REASON IM PHONING YOU IS BECAUSE YOUR ADVERT SAYS YOU DO...

Hospital had her insurance details but insurance company were dragging there feet due to paperwork, so hospital was getting edgy about her insurance not accepting liability, hospital also had her EHIC details but were threatening to move her to NHS hospital or what ever you call it out there if we didn't hand over 9000 euros, we didn't hand over money, but jumped up and down on insurance companies head to get paperwork sorted out...

Annie got a taxi to the hospital, it was about seven in the morning and she didn't want to upset her friends she was on holiday with, as it happens hospital was more or less across the road from their hotel but she didn't know that...

Alzheimers?? sounds eerily familiar? My dad was more or less doing the same thing, no interest in what was going on around hi. Was better yesterday though still couldn't understand why he couldn't drive the car. ( Potato up the exhaust didn't work either! )

It didn't. I brought 3 spuds with me and every one of them shot out like a feckin cannonball . He's got a Toyota Corrolla and the last 6 or 7 inches of the tailpipe points downwards. I couldn't get the spud up past the bend in the pipe. I'll swap the leads around next weekend.
