I did not see anything as it happened from my side and one hit so no chance for defence or to see who. The Police have taken a report of my injuries and tell me they have witnesses so will prosecute the culprits, looks like a bit of happy slapping fun. I had stitches in side of head and glasses were broke and lost with hit on the face, I think it is the glass I had in my eye as I had no vision for 3 days in my left eye and I can see now but still sore and a little blurred. My back is the worse though as very painful to bend, sit and lie down. I am on the mend so lets hope the others they got are too.

new years eve
apologies to Meryl and Reg as been wanting to meet up but time was against us with work befre Chirstmas and since something happened. On New years eve we went to the plaza in Adeje and about 3 am we were sitting having a drink and I went across the road to the plaza to watch some of the music, as I walked across something hit me in the side of the head and next thing I know I police taking me to an ambulance. I had been smacked in the side of the head with a rock or something similar, I was knocked out immediately and then kicked in the back many times. When I got to the ambulance there was a 70 ish old man already there with a big split in the top of his head, he had been attacked by same group and police went running leaving one with me who said they are doing it again. It appears 5 people were attacked before the policia got the gang of youngsters.

When I first started to read I thought it was a targetted attack from your adversary, but realised it wasn´t so that is a good thing. Hope you are feeling better soon and there is no permanent damage, to your eye.

No hapy slapping M they do it video for a laugh and get out, they just knock the victim unconcious straight away, as far as adversary goes, he would not as not his style in person and would have to pay as has no friends. He is just a computer warrior.

Curiosity TD, you say the other guy in the ambulance was in his seventys (really selective these little bas#ards), was he an ex-pat by any chance, just wondering if it was a random attack or were you singled out for some reason...

Re: new years eve
A pet hate of mine, changing place names for no good reason. Spent hours driving round Amsterdam once trying to get back to 'The Hague' to catch a ferry. Turns out the Dutch call it Den Haag.
First time driving through Germany I noticed a lot of signs to a place called Ausfart on the motorway. I was a bit perplexed as I had never heard of what must be a pretty big place. Turns out it means exit......

Re: new years eve
Some of our Gaelic names had to be "Anglicised" up here...even I couldn't pronounce the feckers!
