my dad worked for the GPO for about 40 years. he was a jointer. made it to an ST. he ended his days walking round with a spray tin of yellow paint, identifying cables for builders putting up new builds the jammy git  . he used to make me laugh when he was working on call. he used to get me or my sister to kick down the bollards that they used to put up around the green box's to stop people falling over or injuring themselves while they were being worked on. then get mom to phone it through so he got called out at £40 a time. proper family business

ST was the post everyone aimed for back in the day, you just drove about all day! Sort of what I do now...

ye but was being paid hundreds for doing it  we used to have a competition to try and find the best pubs in and around where we lived in lichfield. and for years he beat me hands down. that's how i found out that was all he was doing all day. just driving around looking for pubs

my dad went to a cider house one lunch time and only had about 3 pints. got hammered and his boss had to come and pick him up  he had to leave the van there and pick it up next day? we would get the sack just for being there

I still think it's a good idea. Used to be a time when all tyre pressures were the same, now it's 35 on front if there's a pregnant passenger and 42 at the back if the boots half-laden...

Try using 2 gauges and see if they are the same

We have to carry a gauge in our van with us and check them weekly!

Sometimes i get in a car and some dick has been to the petrol station and blown them up until there not flat on the bottom, about 60 psi. car drives like a skate board
