As above, is there a Mercadona in Los Cristianos? If so, how do I get there from Cristian Sur? The nearest one I can think of tis the one near Vistasur CC. I was hoping there might be one closer?

Only the one Dermo, but it's not too far from Christian Sur. Walk up past the public swimming pool, (round the back of chayofita hill), and it brings you out at El Camison area, CC ABORA etc. Mercadona is right next to it. Check out this map. both Christian Sur and Mercadona are marked on it...Map There's also an "Iceland" at the base of Costa Mar. The big tower hotel near the Arona Gran at the sea front.

If you fancy the walk Cam is right about the store in El Camison but there is the new one at P.S 6 just a bit further on from the public swimming pool, we always find it is always cheaper to walk to Mercadona and take the bus or taxi back and it is still cheaper than using the smaller shops, but be aware that when we shop it is normally for quite a long time

Just had a shooftie on Google maps Bill, never knew about the one next to the court house. 4 1/2 years is a long time away!

Is it that long since your last visit Cam, you will hardly recognize the place next time you visit, lots and lots of changes in 4 years, but no worries the Cladagh is still there

That new one is the Parque Santiago 6 shopping centre. Gypsy also told me about Dialprix in the Pasarella CC.. Thanks guys

The one in Pasarella is the old spar, dearer than Mercadona but o.k for odds and ends.
