Had a lovely break in the Puerto Calero hotel , nice to be with the family for a week at xmas, hotel was lovely, nice clean rooms and public areas, A.I. offer was great, all branded drinks and good entertainment most of the time, food was this hotels weak point ,the chef needs a hard kick up the Jacksie, it was good food wasted, but we didn't let that bother us ,we ate out a few times and the local restaurants were first class, would not advise anyone to go to this hotel, the weather was terrible too, very windy and really cold for the first 3 days then blue skies till we left but it was really cold at night, doubt if we will set foot on Lanzarote again.

Oh almost forgot to mention for anyone who knows Puerto Del Carmen well, the hotel Fariones is being demolished and re built, and for those that don't know the place Fariones was a great hotel near the old town and has its very own beach.

Yep, all in agreement here. We stayed quite close to Los Fariones years back. Was a good spot then
