I've picked that up twice while on holiday, had to get a doc involved both times, don't think Mermaid would be up and around so quick if she had it, literally knocked the shit out of me for over a week both times...

Got another pre-op appointment letter through the door today, that will be the third one, automated letters intthey,,, as previously said one feckin hand in the NHS ant got a clue what the others doing, I will turn up and go through the process again cos if I don't letter threatens that my whole case will be dissmissed,,, and them feckers went on in the reply to my letter (which took them three months to do) about them being strapped for cash and operation cancellations costing them money,,, it's them feckers that keep cancelling my operation and for no reason according to my doctor,,, farce...

Re: The doctors surgery
Compylerbacter will actually still be giving your body problems after about 6 weeks as it takes so much out of you, I have had twice and one time was a bus station in UK and I was so weak for about 5 weeks after the shits cleared.

Re: The doctors surgery
I am still feeling sick. Not being sick or having to run to the loo but this heat is not helping. Just drinking water to keep my fluids up. Don't want to eat but have tried a slice of toast.

Re: The doctors surgery
Try flat 7up. Not the diet one. Will keep you hydrated while keeping sugar levels and won't upset the stomach.

Re: The doctors surgery
Sorry Mermaid but I am taking up all NHS resources at the moment. You are just gonna have to sit tight in the queue with Cam behind me and all the Muslims. Today I had an MRI scan, an interesting experience which lasted 40 minutes, sounded like Pink Floyd was playing at times, may have dozed off once or twice but I think I was a good boy and kept nice and still. Mark was in charge, English. Tomorrow I have to go to a different Hospital for oral surgery, that should shut me up for a bit. Then next week yet another different Hospital to have something done to my ears. Not sure I'm worth all the expense really but at least one white male made it to the top of the queue anyway.

Re: The doctors surgery
Woooooo, back from surgery. Being as Peterborough is within the import zone wasnt too surprised to find consultant was an Indian chap, dressed like a bloody cowboy he was, reminded me of Kev. His name was Mr B D Puttur, Thought it best not to ask him if he plays golf, Bad Putter....... Anyway he has a good look and says we better have this out today, come back at 11 o'clock. Well it was 12 by the time they took me to theatre but hey, I aint complaining. It was two young sisters who done the op if you know what I mean, they wouldnt have looked out of place on the starting lineup of a marathon in the Ethiopian team, specialy in those green gowns. Anyway all went fine and I go back to see them next week. Eating might be a bit of a problem with all these stitches in my gob but its not hurting, yet. I dropped in at Lidls on the way back and purchased some soup, at the checkout I noticed some Scrumpy cloudy cider in a rather nice glass bottle with a handle on it 7.5%. That will help me sleep tonight............
Oh, they took my blood sugar level Reg, 10.6 it was I said is that good bad or indifferent? They said it should be between 2 and 6. Hmmm, more problems then.
