lovely day here (I think). That office I was meant to be painting. They aren't going to use it as an office after all. They have it let out to a guy who is setting up a training camp for those who want to compete in the world strongest man/woman competition. I'll take photos the next day I'm in there but there are kettle bells there that I could barely lift, tractor tyres and about 6 solid concrete balls ranging in diameter from 28 inches down. Mad stuff!

Well, it was a bit overcast this morning so looked at the forecast, was predicting rain for most of the afternoon, so plan B was if weather ain't good we're off to Santa Cruz for the day, so I look at Santa Cruz weather, it's gonna be 20 degrees with cloud and sunshine, better than Los Cris forecast, so bus it is,,, forecasts shit, drizzled all day and temperature just bearable in jeans and t-shirt, had a walk around, a few beers, and again one of the best meals ever in a backstreet bar/restaurant I discovered some years back,,, will dig up some info on it and post later...

Just back, so it's a bit of a splash and out again,,, now where, not the Times, hit it the other night, one drink and out, ended up Claddagh, great night, so it's either there or the Dub...

More than ten year back we're up in Santa Cruse just having a wander around, I'm on a backstreet where the tram now turns off the front to head up in to town, buildings are let's say distressed, we've  just walked past an old Spanish lady doining nothing other than sit on a chair at her door watching the day go by, a couple of yards later this ramshackle of a door opens and couple come out, I can see its some sort of restaurant inside, we go in, it's like a soup kitchen until you get through the building to the bar, and it's ok,,, we eat, menu is basic food, it says starters, mains, but no matter how many times I've now been in, you order and they serve it how they want, main comes first then the starter or all at once as it did today.......

No matter, some odd stuff on the menu, but getting chaced now to go out so will post later what we had...

Only ever drove through Santa Cruz. must pay a proper visit this year

Ended up in the Claddagh, last thing I recall was sitting having a catch up with Derek and knocking back the Jamison's,,, Arghhhh, I don't drink spirits,,,,, breakfast up till now has been Anadins and water...
