I know. President Paul Kruger was known affectionately as "Oom" Paul by the Boers.

Re: off topic Meerkats !!!
There is a pub in Kerry called Kruger Kavanagh's named after the guy who used to own it. Dont know where he got the name Kruger from , he real name was Muiris. Its only a very plain looking bar but has had some big names frequenting. Robert Mitchum and John Mills was there every night when filming Ryans Daughter. Nicole Kidman had to be carried out by Tom Cruise while doing "Far and Away". Dolly Parton has sung there on occasion and Nigel Kennedy( the violin fella) is a regular but he lives only a few miles away.

So LR did you go down to the meerkat to get your meerkats, or since they have a Christmas theme, was it the Christmas meerkat where you purchased them.

I bought them at Fairlie's garden centre in Cairneyhill. I saw the exact same ones in the Sterling mills at Tillicoultry and they were double the price! A bargain I tell you, I was glad to pay it.

In the interest of clarification and education.
This is a group of Meerkats
and this is a group of Meertwats
In a group of 3 they all look the same but they are different the former are nice and cute - the latter just have ill repute.
