New Van ( reg is going to kill me)
I was bidding on this and there was about 10 sec left in the auction. I was all ready to type in my max price ( 3800) when I dropped the feckin' mouse. ended up pressing the enter button right on the end of the auction. Missed it.

I see it was in Norwich, thats why it was cheap. Only I buy stuff in Norfolk. Keep your eyes on it though, might well come up again if it was won by a messer. Send him a message anyway saying you fecked up, and have hole burning cash waiting.

Hope all turns out OK for you D as you have to be so careful when dealing with car dealers.

But seriously EBay is OK but be very careful parting with money until you see the goods that's all I'm saying

Re: New Van ( reg is going to kill me)
Thanks everyone. Deposit paid through PayPal so covered through that. Done a history check on van and everything corresponds with the ad. If it goes tits up I'll be out the cost of the flight cos I booked the ferry on flexi fare which means I can cancel with full refund. I've done as much as I can from this end. The guy has a 100% record on EBay going back a few years. So touch wood, everything will be fine.

Well I guess you will be flying into Norwich Airport Dermo? Tis only about 50 miles from me. If you like I can meet you there and take you to collect van. I know a smidgin about motors and if its wrong I will suss it pretty quick. Also you can kip round mine, probs only a sofa, before setting off to the land of Euro.

Re: New Van ( reg is going to kill me)
By the way the auction looked fairly genuine to me. Why did the owner decide to sell to you?

Re: New Van ( reg is going to kill me)
Thanks for the offer Vince. Flying into Stansted. can't get a direct flight to Norwich. Getting the train then to Wymondham where the lad is going to collect me. He said that the winning bidder hadn't contacted him after the auction.

Re: New Van ( reg is going to kill me)
I was born within a stones throw of the market cross in Wymondham and lived there all my early life. Nice little market town years ago but like everywhere has changed completely since those days.

Re: New Van ( reg is going to kill me)
Think it might be pronounced 'windham'. I would need to check the map before I went though. I have heard of it and probably drove near it but I may have blinked.
Talking of Norfolk I done the MG Norfolk Riviera Run on Thursday. I was given directions and we, me and Pixie the navigator, set off at 09.40. Everyone was 2 minutes apart but I had caught up with 2 in front of me within about 1 mile. Just as well as Pixie doesnt read and the little lanes were icy to put it mildly. One who was behind me managed to put his/hers in a ditch upside down. Fire brigade and ambulance were called but no injuries apparently. Got some photos but camera is still in the car.
