Holiday fines during term time.

The government are going to start fining parents who take their children out of school during term to take advantage of cheaper holidays. Why don't they fine the feckin' airlines who raise their prices during the holidays? It's human nature, innit? If the only way you can afford to take your kids on holiday is by going during school term, then that's when they'll go on holiday! Remember "Benidorm" and that family in the all-inclusive. The wee boy didn't know there was a beach! Haha!

It is more harming to not take them away than to remove from school. Also many families do not have the privelage of as many holiday as Teachers do and have to take set weeks around other colleagues so the kids are penalised. I would do it and pay the fine, still cheaper.

It costs exactly the same to fly a plane from A to B during school term as it does during school break. Tossers shouldn't be allowed to raise the prices. If they fill a plane and make a profit then, it just shows they are greedy bassas!

Supply and demand innit!! I cant believe the prices some people pay during holidays. It would be alot cheaper to take the fine..however I would just lie and say there was a family emergency. What they going to do, demand photos of a funeral as proof. x
