Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
Yip, I don't feel one bit sorry for any of them, right from the start of it it was obvious it was dodgy, it's just fun watching the fallout, think there's another court case pending against the accountants that handeled the administration, plus have King and Ashley not got the law on to them also...

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
Yip, Ashley waiting on a court ruling to do with a merchandising deal, King is being taken to court by the financial authorities to do with share purchase issue, and Duff and Phelps the administrators for basically making a hash of it, theirs a bit in the article below I don't recall reading about, Craig Whites solicitors were sued and paid out £24m the article says over the Rangers fiasco...

Piece of the article:-
"In November 2014, BDO agreed a settlement for £24m in a claim against Collyer Bristow, the legal firm that acted for Craig Whyte in his purchase of Rangers Football Club plc from Sir David Murray in May 2011."

And today Mathew...

Extract from the article, already said I don't think this witness is the brightest tool in the box, but these statements have been exactly what I've been thinking from the start of the case:-
The witness replied: "I was told by Mr Whyte that Ticketus must not be shown."
But, he added that it was "not unusual" not to reveal "your source of funding".

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
Don't know about this guy on the stand at the moment, what he's coming out with is all over the place, plus the fact the company he worked for made a £24m out of court settlement (see post 635 above) ref their involvement doesn't help...

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
Just been thinking about this, trials in Glasgow, eight men and seven women, one would suspect Glaswegians, so they either support Celtic or Rangers, so if they support Celtic Whytes fecked, and if they support Rangers he's well fecked...
It's a bit like the trial of a Liverpool comedian for tax evasion in a Liverpool court.........

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
Someone has to pay for Rangers turning into "Sevco". Weird set of circumstances however you look at it...
Wiki...
"Rangers, a football club in Scotland, entered financial difficulties during the late 2000s. The club, trading as The Rangers Football Club plc, entered administration in February 2012. It owed substantial amounts to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs ("HMRC"), who subsequently refused to allow Rangers to exit administration via a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA). The Rangers Football Club plc entered liquidation on 31 October 2012.
The refusal of the CVA forced the administrators to sell the business and assets of Rangers to a new creation,"Sevco Scotland" set up and operated by Charles Green. As a new football club,"Sevco Scotland" (which changed its name to 'The Rangers Football Club Ltd") had to apply for membership of a professional Scottish Football League in order to be able to apply for membership of the Scottish Football Association. The then Scottish Premier League refused their application, as did Leagues 1 and 2 of the then Scottish Football league. The 3rd division of the Scottish Football League did, however, admit them. The SFA then allowed the new club to purchase a share in the SFA.Interestingly, for the first game of the 2012-13 season, the new club had to seek the permission of the Administrators of the old Rangers FC, to use players that had 'belonged' to that club, there still being two quite different legal entities claiming to be 'Rangers', namely, "The Rangers Football Club Ltd (founded 2012) and Rangers Football Club (In Liquidation) ( founded 1872). On what precise legal basis The Rangers Football Club Ltd is deemed to be identical with Rangers FC(IL) is something of a mystery, since if it truly were legally so,it would , on the face of it, be liable for the uncleared debts that caused that club to suffer the insolvency event. To date, no one is quite sure who is the Chairman of "The Rangers Football Club Ltd". Mr Dave King is the chairman only of 'Rangers International Football Club", a quite different entity."
