I agree with you Mich. It is time to move on. Water under the bridge and all that...This little forum is a nice little forum and has proved the gainsayers wrong who said it wouldn't last 'til Christmas. We're like any other forum though as regards to lurkers. I remember on old TF.com we had over 20,000 members but only a minute fraction of that number ever posted. Same on here. We have just over a hundred registered users but probably only 20 or so post regularly. That's about 1 in 6 so not a bad return really compared to others.

I think some of the posts about other forums are merely Jesticular.

I think it can come across very nasty at times,might be a good time to move on it is getting a little boring and newbies might be a bit put off from posting.

It's a shame but i see the few members on here spoiling what could be a nice little forum.

I think some people suffer from memory loss, or perhaps they just have a selective memory.

If i thought it was me that put people off because i can go on a bit about certain things, i would gladly stay out of it and just watch, Anything for the forum, Whats funny for some is a bit boring for others,

Whatever happened to our original forum motto "anything goes" then ?

There are some who are still posting anti-religious, racist and sexist stuff on here which some might find extremely offensive. Why therefore, do we suddenly need to refrain from discussing another forum where, after all, most of us first met ?

Maybe we have a new agenda / boss / person in charge ?

Don't you dare stop posting! We need nutters like you and me on this forum so they don't start going all sensible on us...We have serious threads and fun threads and that's how it should be, variety is the spice...blah blah.
Jimbo, talk about other forums all you want mate but if you are going to insult someone then use a bit of ingenuity and "disguise" the person you are talking about.( I remember KJ telling us to do that on the old TF so the forum wouldn't be liable to a libel suit).

Come on guys, take a chill pill, why should we suddenly care what someone from another forum thinks about what goes on here. If it was so brilliant elsewhere they wouldn´t have time to come on here and post. Even when they don´t post they look in most days so we are obviously doing something they enjoy otherwise they wouldn't bother logging on.

And do we really need their condescending comment about >>>what could be a nice little forum>>> IMO they are getting a thrill out of people talking about them which is probably the only exciting thing that has happened in a long time.

Suggestion - can we have an ignore button so we can block those we don´t want to hear from?

I thought he had been banned anyway. We surely can't be THAT desperate for members.

Go to "Profile", "Friends and foes" and use the "foes" section to block certain posts.

Can I also block all of HT's drivel like that ?

back to the original post re newbies. The members who have never posted have been emailed asking them to come on and post a introduction(It does ask this in the email they received on joining us) It could be some are having difficulty getting signed back in. I know of a couple where this has happened and we sorted it for them.

On most forums you will get people who don't post but like to view,if that is what they want to do we have no problem with that. It would be nice to get 1 post at least,

yep the long weekend starts on the tuesday,me and my lad are making a holiday of it this year.we normaly just stay two nights,we dont care who is in the final but its a bonus if wigan are there as they were last year.we are into sight seeing and walking the canals.

It was meant as a thanks but no thanks. But and a big but we must try and be careful with names for certain things.
