If they want my advice, guarantee the deposits and let the bank go under.

Bank will soon have your house if you dont pay a loan secured on it. Hardly fair is it?

    The Euro is knackered...
Greece declares bailout terms null and void
    and
    France rejects austerity pact..

I think it's only a matter of time. Spain said it wouldn't be bailing out any banks and yet it has done just that...

July 1st, I told Reg t'other day about Greece signing to pay loan back in Drachma and it could be as early as July 1st that they bale out.
Eire will follow. Massive gains to be had by first countries out.
Euro will probably survive though but with the richer countries, Germany, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland and even possibly UK, making a new pact.
Greece will be come so cheap to Holiday and also buy property.

I said on TF before that Greece would pull out of the Euro with maybe one other country ( probably an economy that's too big to bail out). There's not a hope in hell of Ireland leaving the euro voluntarily. I can see Eurobonds being brought in within a year. This will lower the interest rate payable by the weaker countries. The Germans will fight this until their backs are to the wall. I think the Greeks should be applauded for standing up to the insanity
