Am I banned or what?

Just been to go on the forum by my usual method which is to click on it in my favourites list and message came up saying 'Critical information. You are banned from this forum'. Eek. Tried it on Firefox and got the same result. Anyway the last time I was on was yesterday evening and I was seriously pissed so I'm thinking I must have abused someone. I have managed to get on the site by going via History and I can now see I am not banned and the forum is working normally. Now does anyone know why this has occured and more critically has it happened to others? Have we been nobbled?

I don´t know where the powers that be are today, think they are having a knees up somewhere in the highlands and islands, so wouldn´t know how to check what was going on in the background.

The only ones I am aware that have been banned are those who were trying to cause trouble and the one that had 14 IP addresses and still couldn't decide if they were a he or a she.

I had no trouble logging in what about others?

i logged out and got the same message as vince
now i can't get on using chrome (on firefox for this message)
also i tried posting this message before and it didn't work so hopefully this one gets through

Please sent a help ticket via the correct channel and your problem will be addressed by the mods in a weeks time

I have just deleted it from my favourites list (Internet Explorer) and replaced it again. Now working fine. It has also come to my attention that the forum name has changed. It used to be Tennerifesforumoffun and now its called Tenerife forum of fun! I suspect someones been meddleing. Perhaps they will own up tomorrow when they get back from the highlands trip.

the thing that is weird is that it is only on my laptop (and only on chrome which i normally use) and is before i log in
i.e. when i go to the url, it gives me the banned message straightaway
then when i enter my username and password i get an unknown login

am on pc and firefox just now so will clean out cookies etc on laptop and see if that makes a difference later
