An email telling members that they weren't actually banned, might have been useful (and still could be). :sulk2:

It seems I am partially to blame for you lot being banned. I banned the 14 IP addresses used by MICH but what I didn´t know is that you lot are also using proxy IP addresses so perhaps a lesson learnt, we don´t give out your details we don´t even look at them unless you are a trouble maker, so there is no need to hide behind false addresses :sulk2:

No, I don't mean you were using a proxy. Mr banned was, and somehow he managed to hide himself behind our "open" IP addys. If I clicked on one of his IP addys, it said "Other users using this IP address are..." (One of us.)

Well I didn´t know that I just saw all the IP addresses being used by 'Mr banned' and banned those too. Which was obviously the cause of the problem, so if nobody is using proxy IP addresses then this person has found (knowingly or unknowingly - cos I don´t think they are that technical) a way round the system. But we have learnt something for the future.

If I was banned does that mean I have a proxy IP address?
If I have I haven't intentionally done it....how do I change it?
