What Culinary Delight did you have for your tea tonight?

I believe they used to have it on Vista sur beach, The night club is bad enough sometimes  
I get more piece and quiet in the middle of student land Headingley, I love both places tho

  Nah i shall spin my base ball cap backwards and take some substance and join them on the beach, Far out man  

We were out today so dropped into a place for Lunch. I had Lasagne with garlic bread.

Well it wasnt Chic Ken   I think it was strips of beef, but i wouldnt swear to it,
So on that basis i will award it 3/10, No pudding because i got a bollocking from the doctor,
I apologized for eating and promised i would cut down to bread crumbs from the bird table,
I'l waste away i tell yi  

Still too full from last night, so just had a slice of cake and a glass of coke.

I had loin of pork with stewed apples and melted Stilton cheese, sautéed potatoes and veg. Yummy 8/10

Haggis Pies

Heard via son in law that Morrisons was now doing them in their Market Street pie counter, our Morrisons don't do them but Tynemouth does, and guess where we just happened to pass this afternoon.

Good old fashioned Scotch pie style as well or Elephant Foot pies as we called then when we were kids.


Oven in, chip shop mushy peas on mmmmm

Mmm, Steak pie mash and carrots and those queer things that look like small corn on the cob, 6/10

chicken green pepper and black bean sauce. bit runny. 7/10

Chiken Curry, rice. Too runny, 5/10.

I feel left out now, I should have said my pie was runny.
But i was in the middle of battle plans with eldest brother, getting ready for round ten million

Runny serves the purpose, goes in runny comes out easier

Talking of which I went into Grandee O'Donnels last Wednesday to watch the football, Dorada was just €2.20 a pint, told the other Irish sister bar was more though.

We'll check it out in a few weeks

Only €1.50 in Sundowners. Amstel. Strangely tastes exactly the same as Dorada. Hmmm. 
Young barman in there was talking to a foreigner who wanted tea (strange), he thought he said is it an import to which he replied 'No, its PG Tips'  What he actually said was 'Is it in a pot?'

Tea, nothing like it

I just rolled up laughing, he probably thinks I'm mad.

Just had a fab Chicken Malay with pilau rice, a small portion of mushroom bahjee and a quarter of peshwari naan. 10/10
