REVIEW - Lazy Daze Empty LAZY DAZE BAR

    Post by Topdog Fri 26 Aug 2011 - 23:48

Great family run Bar, it has just had an extensive refit and is now open again. Brilliant entertainment, small, very friendly bar. Mick and Lorraine and their Daughter Danni always have a great laugh with the punters. Give it a try. Parque de La Paz.Las Americas. Just behind the Safari Centre.

Do you know if they are the people who had Danni's Bar in Los Cris. It was really nice, they got rid of it and it has changed two or 3 times since then. If they are the same family it should be really good.

I met them when they had a bar in Torviscas, we later all went on a cruise together with some other friends and come back and they turned a space between 2 bars into another bar. They had nowt and worked so hard to make it work....they say people deserve what they get in life, these people have really put everything into staying in TENERIFE and making it work. Lovely Peeps and deserve a great break. Most people that go into the bar think not sure if this is my cuppa, they end up staying a while, then a bit longer then go back time and time again. With the refit, should be even better. If looking in Good Luck.

Good luck to them if you work hard you deserve all you can get. The only problem I have along The Paz Strip is the constant Chinese with their flashing things and yapping dogs unless you sit inside.

You ought to see Billy Idol (Paul Featherstone), when he is on in here. He is good friends with the owners and he has a great time but the Chinks suffer, bloody hilarious.

REVIEW - Lazy Daze Empty New Lazy Daze

    Post by Topdog Thu 28 Jun 2012 - 8:32

My very good friends have purchased a new bar to re-open Laze Daze, which was always their intention. They wanted a bar where they can also do food and a new challenge. This will open in about 4 weeks as it needs a lot of work.
The bar will be next to Noelia Sur.
Good Luck Mick, Lorraine, Danni, Alfie and Macie xx

Where exactly is it next to near the Noelia ?.
The George (which is right next door) is very popular and despite the Noelia now being AI still has a decent trade drinks and isn't too expensive.
There are a couple of foodie bars there in that little strip so should have some good competition which is always healthy as it shows who is better at it.

Not sure yet BS, it is a bar that has been closed for around 3 years. In My opinion it is the best way to do it. Don't take an existing bar over, start a new one or one that has not been used for a real long time.
As I get more info I will let you know, but I do agree the George is busy and it will only bring good Compo.

REVIEW - Lazy Daze Empty New Lazy Daze

    Post by Topdog Fri 17 Aug 2012 - 12:55

The New Lazy Daze Bar/ Restaurant will be open soon. This will open as a bar first with food being introduced around 30th September 2012. The Food will not be cooked by a basic bar Chef but By a very well respect Head Chef from Brighton Marina's Brasserie Fish Restaurant. This is a Chef with an excellent pedigree, so be prepared. More details will follow soon.
The bar is run by a very nice and well respect and excellent Bar family, having been bar owners and very successful in Tenerife for many years.
This will be a delight I am sure.
If anyone can make a go of things The pairing of this family and the Chef they are taking on board will succeed.
