Re: REVIEW - Lazy Daze
I think they will have a great compere and some very good Cabaret late evening too. I must say if anyone has ever had a drink in the old Lazy Daze it was always a very good pint, most fella's would understand that.Lone Ranger wrote:Best of luck to everyone concerned!

Re: REVIEW - Lazy Daze
We met Reg last night and went to Lazy Daze for dinner. It wasn´t quite where I thought. I am going to be critical here but I hope it is constructive. Because they are on the lower level, they really need
a) their signage to be brighter (lights behind it) as we couldn´t see it at night.
b) the seating area on the upper level needs a nice awning nice seats and some sparkly lights. Think it could be done with 3 or 4 garden type settees and a couple of coffee tables.
c) Would put some sort of screen up to separate the area when you go down the stairs from the supermarket next door.
Everything along there is quite dark except for the George which is going to take all their custom if they just blend into the background.
We met Stu and Danni both lovely people who couldn´t have been more helpful. We ordered the hummus, garlic bread and king prawns for starters - lovely. For main we had the fillet steak and 2 x sirloin all with tomato, mushroom and the most fabulous chips really hot and crunchy. Prices very reasonable don´t know about drink prices but we had a nice time and will certainly do a write up for the restaurant side as the meal was first class.
I will also recommend on TA both the forum and the review sections.

Re: REVIEW - Lazy Daze
Thanks gypsy I believe they are working on the upper but do agree, glad the food was good
The Lighting on top for signage had fused out due to the amount of rain and is getting sorted.
