I have been finding it very difficult to lose weight and I haven't managed to find any diet support groups over here. I thought it would be a good idea if we could help each other and give each other support on here for all of us trying to lose a bit of weight. Maybe give some good tips and keep each other up to date with our progress :) Due to health reasons, I have to lose weight, so I would appreciate any help and support and I hope it will help others too :) I am on a low fat, low carb diet and over past few weeks have been living on the white meat, although over Christmas I have given in to the odd bacon buttie :S I have found that cutting out of fat and using Olive Oil helps, also no cakes, sweets, crisps etc., Cheese is one of my biggest downfalls as I love it so much. If I do fancy some, I buy the strong goats cheese or those light triangle cheeses (they are delicious mixed in and melted in with pasta ) I do feel as if I have lost quite a bit already and feel much healthier. Any tips would be appreciated :) XX

You've met me Cathy, and you know I weigh about 9 stone in wet clothes. I've never had to worry about my weight so I'm hopeless at any diet ideas! I'm pretty sure some of the others will have a few ideas though. I hope it works out for you.
