Driving back from Lincoln this afternoon I heard on the radio that if you eat your meal off a red plate you are likely to eat 40% less. Works with mugs too so peeps drink less tea/coffee. (Yet to see a red beer glass so we're ok chaps). Apparently its because we conceive the colour red as danger. I had a look but we are fresh out of red plates in our house so I cannot put this to the test. Worth a try?

i don't have red plates either but it does not work with coffee for me. I still drink loads

4 ally wheels with tyres for my car off ebay. Match the originals, keep them and put em on just for MOTs. Loads of rubber on the ones I have but they failed, might do 4,000 miles next year, they will maybe need changing then, when the metal bits are showing.

I think a red plate would put me off eating - Lincoln cathedral, castle, Roman archway nowt else.

No motorways, 40mph behind lorries, no caravans though. Went right beside the Cathedral on top of the hill. Lincolns full of nice young totty, must be a posh Uni there somewhere.
