At home we frequent one of the best Indian restaurants in the U.K. and I must say the meal we had here was every bit as good as our local.
I had a lamb balti ,boiled rice ,garlic nan and a side of sag aloo,
the balti was simply to die for , all ingredients were fresh, herbs spices and the lamb was not your normal lamb cooked on a skewer and added to a sauce but a slow cooked dish cooked in the actual juices served in a balti dish and garnished with julien of ginger and chopped coriander , superb
The rice was well cooked and served in large portions ,the nan was delicious brushed with garlic ghee and sprinkled with fresh parsley.
The sag aloo was equally delicious, fresh spinach and potatoes in a lovely herby sauce
I used to think that the Sher &Punjab was good but this place beats any Indian restaurant I have eaten in the Canaries.
Unfortunately I cant remember what the bill came to but it was no more expensive than any other restaurant we have used , just love this place can,t wait to go again
