I too would say the Troya because of the location, out the front door step onto the beach.  Oro Negro, gets a lot of youngsters who are recommended there because of location to clubs, so may be noisy I don't know.  Redlight district !!  Hardly, there are a few women who will hang around the dark alleyways offering their services to mainly a group of lads.  Often they prefer to touch them up while trying to find where they have stored their wallets.  I have never heard of them approaching couples or families.

Personal opinion, I just don´t think these are in the best area and I wouldn´t stay there although I often walk my dogs along that part during the day.  Have a look at the Andorra Apt best part of PdlA, The Barranco Bungalows which are on the main road so good location, Parque Cristobel and MarOla?

Sorry to add more confusion. lol!

Daryn, You mentioned you stayed in Paloma beach, Have you thought about the Arona Gran, I have stayed there a few times and thought it was ok, I think there is a web site that finds hotel and offer big dicounts if they have rooms available. Plenty of scruffy bars opposite too,
Well lets face it, Safari centre not, but its ok,

Daryn ,have you ever thought about ALBIR or ALTEA both are just a 10 minute bus ride away from BENIDORM  and both are lovely, we go quite regularly on sneaky breaks, but seldom venture into BENIDORM unless we are going to a show, there are some lovely apts called Albir confort which are terrific and offer good value for money

Hi all both my forum and your forum seems very slow today dont know whats going on.......

Anyway got back from Blackpool in the sun on Friday, (straight back to work) Where you off too for summer holidays - Page 3 16779677

I said I would never do Beni for a main holiday again but have to say we really enjoyed it, I didnt feel ready to come home after 2 weeks lol, seen lots of really good shows and a few bad ones too.

Searcher we jumped on the bus and went to Albir and Altea its is really nice place, Ive got some photos I will put together infact when I do my review on my site Ill copy it and paste it to this forum as well for you all to see.

Benidorm well what can I say, it was packed out, Ive never seen a holiday resort so full for years, infact it was the 80s last time I saw so many people on holiday. Mind After seeing most of the shows I think once you have seen them all would I still be so keen to stay, me and the wife agreed it was a great holiday, the pool area of the Melia is a lovely place to sit around with its large lagoon style pool and lots of exotic plants around, some great bars across the road real cheap through the day but they hike the prices up at night, mind I cant blame them they were putting about 4 shows on a night and they are not cheap so you dont mind paying extra.

Now the bad bit, not the holiday but when we got home...........

As soon as my mate dropped us off at the door I notice my wifes car was scratched all down one side, I checked the other and yes that had been done as well, just malicious mischief, real pissed about that, then my car has given me alsorts of problems and Ive only just managed to stay on the road this weekend for work but off tonight so lots of work needed on that next week, but Im still smiling lol.

Had no camera on holiday as that seems to have disappeared as well, Im sure I had it in the door pocket of my car, when Ive opened it it must have dropped out so all my holiday photos were done on my phone so not gonna be great.

Well hopefully thats my bad luck finished with for the rest of the year and I now look forward to heading to mallorca for my 4 night break beginning of October.

Well short and sweet folks I have t go out but will catch up with you all later. Hope everyone is well.

Only trouble is they are mostly Yank vans. I saw an old Austin LD at Wells last week in the car park. Like brand new it was, dark green and cream. Funny but I dont remember paint being that shiny in the 70s. Where you off too for summer holidays - Page 3 3025408739

A clever old guy I used to work with years ago told me they used to paint their cars with a certain gloss paint that is longer available, he said it used to work great nice and smooth but is now banned, must have had lead in it etc.
