Val and myself decided that we needed a wee break after making tea for the decorators so we booked ourselves into a new hotel near Vilamoura on the Algarve in Portugal, what a treat it was as well, this just has to be one of the best hotels in Europe!!!, it is ultra modern with every comfort anyone could ask for, the bathroom and toilet are so good it is hard to leave them as you find something new every time you use them, we had WIFI, every where in and around the hotel, a 42in smart T.V. the coffee/tea making facilities are Nespresso machines, the beds were 2 queensize and the linen was just fabulous, the first day I was looking for beach towels and couldn,t find any so I asked Val she said "they are in the wardrobe " well I had seen them but they were so big I thought they were blankets, we had two sunbeds the size of normal single beds on our balcony but the sunbeds around the pool were something else, they had 4in pads on them and I am not joking when I say that we have had worse beds in our cabin on some cruise ships , we shall be back soon , for anyone who is looking for a quality hotel it is called THE EPIC SANA HOTEL in olhas do agua near Vilamoura, both of us can highly recommend it

Yes P.S. sampled a few super bok a bit better than Dorada etc but I.m not too keen on lager type beers more a speckled hen or Guinness man

Re: Algarve trip
I'm not keen on Portugal been 3 times and yet to be impressed but this hotel sounds really nice and the reviews are excellent so perhaps if it is just for a relaxing week by a pool it is worth remembering.
