Prestwick Airport...
Would swear I started a post on this topic yesterday indicating the Scottish government were possibly getting involved in something they know nothing about, well the extract below from the article says it all...
Prestwick is some 32 miles from Glasgow and 80 from Edinburgh, with both the city's having airports on their doorsteps, who is going to want to travel miles to fly when you don't need to, the current company cannot make Prestwick pay, so what makes Salmond and his cronies think he can, nothing going by this statement:-
"She explained that, once the airport was in public ownership, there would be a detailed business case made which would include levels of investment and a timescale on turning around its fortunes."
