airport bus

Can anybody tell me the times of the buses from the S airport to pdla please.  I know they are every half hour,but
i cant seem to get a time.

They run on T.M.T.  [Tenerife maybe rime] 

I saw you posted the same question on TA Kev. The bus timetables in Tenerife don't say when they depart from the stop that you may be at, just when they depart from the terminus ( Perfect Specimen might be able to clarify this ). If its the 111, I would allow 50 - 60 minutes for the bus to get to the airport from Santa Cruz. There is a link on the TItsa website that says "How to go". Click on this and enter the start/end point details in the direction box. This will tell you the routes that you can take. You then have to read the timetable for these routes and work out roughly how long the bus will take from the terminus to get to you. ( Titsa are looking for funding to introduce "real time" displays on their bus stops but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it any time soon).

If you click on the airport stop on the map it will show the times, however they are pretty much pie in the sky. If you are going to LA bus station you can also get the 353 (think thats the right number) that goes there without stopping at all or the 450 which takes a slightly different route through LA but like the 111 you can get off anywhere. Dont forget your brolly........ 

Hi Kev, as you know I have never been on a Tenerife bus   but if you check on Google Maps as opposed to the Titsa website you see something like the following.  Select your journey i.e. Airport to Pdla, select the Bus icon and you get times showing.  You can then choose your departure time and you can then see which buses are the closest to your time.  I changed from the current time to 7.00pm and it looks as if I can catch the 111 at 7.13 from the airport.   I hope I have read this correctly.  xx

111 runs all through the night too if perhaps your plane is late, although not every half hour.

Spanish minutes the same as English ones, tells you how many you have got left to wait, end of.

I guess you hide the ferret somewhere for the bus, I know you cant take dogs. Mind you most of the dogs you see on Tenerife will fit in a clutch bag.

The buses do not adhere to the apps. not only that we have lots of new drivers here at GDS and i think they are trying to prove a point or is it a world record ,of who can do the best lap time round GDS since the re tarmacing

Hit your head on the roof as they go over the speed humps too I guess. They seem to give the drivers a change of route every so often, not a bad idea. Familiarity breeds contempt.
