Not all on the same day of courseDazzler wrote:La Finca, Chayofa, lovely Canarian food with gorgeous veg, my favourite place.
El Cine - can't help it, just love their chicken wings, consistently good
Casa Tres, Torviscas - nice food, cooked well and menu slightly different from most.
Soul City, at entrance to Ocean Park, best Sunday roast, bar none!
Gran Paella Valencia (or Vista el Sur next door but one, same family, but go upstairs for the view) - Huge portions, super fish & steak and cheap as chips.

sounds like some good places but you would have to get a taxi to a couple of those? and that makes it an expensive night out ,we do intend to try a place in vale san lorenzo? in october though as you can catch a bus up there and taxi back,i think it's called los mosses or somethin like that?Topdog wrote:Slow Boat PC is superb, Roast House, Ian is an excellent Chef and can do some real homely grub too. Restaurante Margarita also has excellent Sausages and Burgers now. The BBQ is very good value. Best Pizza is Costa Smeralda in El Galleon, by far. Placeras that Gypsy said is top notch, strange guy on the music, not really, Joel was performing last time we went and he was fabulous.
Best BBQ is my house as the Chilli is real.

Bit of a hike from bus stop if its the one I'm thinking of. Turn left at the garage, keep walkin up hill, small fishing boat by entrance. Gypsy may know.

Ex-pats call it the Shed. The portions are huge you sit in a patio area with all odd tables and chairs and loads of plants hanging over you. The slabs of meat hang over the end of the plates (all odd too) so make sure you ask for a doggy bag. Go early and the place is empty but by 9.30 10.00pm you can´t move in there, full of locals and wannabe locals.

Think its the one you refer to as the shed M. Went there with Patsy but we chose the one day it was closed, Mon Tues? Sure our friend from Walsall wont mind odd shape slabs of steak hanging over the side of his plate.

In the early seventies I dyed my hair and had spikes to look like David Bowie, a bit later I had a perm to look like Kevin Keegan, oh dear.
