morning all.

I dont have house insurance because I dont like feeding financial institutions. Been burgled once, happens once in 50 years on average I'm told, nicked giant tele laptop and electric tools. Replaced the lot including a sensible sized tele via ebay for about £500. Had 3 house fires, all put out before fire brigade arrived. Minimal damage. Never been in a serious flood but if I can see the water creeping up outside everything mobile would get moved upstairs. If the house falls down in an earthquake its 3 more building plots, same value plus thousands of sought after antique bricks.    People get lazy because they think insurance companies will replace everything brand new, bollux, read the small print. The companies make a profit not YOU.

According to the weather radar the last squall for a few hours is just passing. Just spotted some daffodil storks coming up, if they grow any more than their current 4 inches they will get flattened. I cannot ever remember having storm after storm coming along for weeks like this. Soddam and Gamorah comes to mind........   

same here. w\atching the snow now before the next code orange storm comes in tomorrow PLUS there is a real humdinger of a storm due next weekend. Possible gusts of 110 - 120 mph
