Tesco also bailed out of a new development near us, 4.6 acres
Few years ago they bought up buildings left right and centre, all for silly big money "Tesco Closures: Is Your Local Store To Go?" 3561243520

The old Thrift building Cam put on here has been demolished, Phillip Greens mob, are building a big shopping centre on it,I would have thought it was listed, Art Deco it was, Shame "Tesco Closures: Is Your Local Store To Go?" 1498946960

A £22m Tesco Superstore has been built near me at Chatteris, Cambs. Was due to open in November but mothballed. No doubt the local shopkeepers are delighted, tiny town in the middle of nowhere. Still, there is a brand new roundabout the lorries have difficulty getting around, perfect.  "Tesco Closures: Is Your Local Store To Go?" 1498946960

They were opening new stores here al well, at a rate of knots. Wonder if they will start closing a few? It is the same company for the two islands i.e., there is no distinction between Tesco Ireland and Tesco UK. If ye are getting closures, it cant be long before they start here as well.
