Ah, I've sussed the problem, have a look at all your "" On this day" links, they all update to the current day...

How about if you do it with that snipping tool thing then post it as a picture then it won't change...

We went on to the Concorde in the aviation museum in Scotland. Don't think I would have liked flying in it. It was like being inside the cardboard centre bit of a toilet roll. Looked stunning from the outside though. I'll put up a few photos when I am allowed near the computer! 

They did some flights from Leeds over the channel and back, £200 i think, Pal of mine went on it,
Said it was like a cigar tube When it came over our house the pointing fell out of the brick work,

When I lived up in Edinburgh I was only a couple of miles from the airport, but not on the flight path so noise wasn't a problem, one Sunday morning there's a hell of a noise of what sounded like an aeroplane passing, not only was it unusual for planes to pass the house, the noise was unusal, a very loud vibrating burbling noise rather than the screech of a normal jet, ten minutes or so the same noise again, I get out of bed and pull the curtain back to have a look, feck me there's concord right in front of me, it was doing a few very low display circuits around Edinburgh...

We live on the incoming flight path, not that noisy really, but if some kent comes to look at a car they stare at them like its a space ship, "how do you live with that" - WHAT  
We get a few army transport planes and jets, they make a racket ,
But the police helicopter hovering outside is the worst, then the trains at the bottom of the garden and the student party's and the police kicking in doors, Yeh i couldnt live in the country

Only for WW1, you could well have a commonwealth of federal states including Ireland instead of the U.K. as we know it. You would then have an argument  with the Scots over who got the North Sea oil, with the Irish over fishing and gas rights, with the English over anything really and we'll leave Wales out cos they dont have much to argue over.
