Was a bit rushed when I posted the above, was mid cooking tea, spoke with guy who organises event (Moz) a couple of weeks back in thee pub, he wanted to change event from Sun/Mon to Sat/Sun as he felt people were not turning up on the Monday due to being back to work Tuesday, owner of the bar wanted to keep it the same, he's a bit of an odd decker, opens it with his brother, they fall out all the time, we all think they are just waiting tpfor the buy out as bar sits on a prime bit of city centre land which they own,,, speaking to another mate who sometimes plays at the event on Thursday he informed me it was now only being held on the one day Saturday), plus it would seem the owner has tightened up on the deal with with the bands, it's a free event to attend, but the pub must make a fortune during it, they put on a barbecue (Note pub is also a restaurant so has the staff), plus the amount of beer drunk between 2pm till silly o'clock they are doing ok, Bands got free during and a burger for doing the event, they are now going to get three free drinks plus no barbecue at all?.. Don't understand it it, think it's days could be numbered, not just the event but the pub, and it's the one with the grand piano and guitars where we have a good time...
Plus weather forecast ain't looking to good either, but plan is there for first band at two, then escape to my local just around the corner to watch football at gout, then back to gig at six, the Pirate Band are headlining, they're mental but great, could be a late one..........

Afternoon all. Was meant to bring Shona to a charity soccer blitz but we forgot. Not much point going now, it started at ten this morning. Anyway, far too much sport to be watched today.

Feeling a bit "off" today. Only had 7 bottles of beer last night over 5 hours. Thats about 4 pints. I'm not able for this anymore . Thats me finished until xmas ( apart from a surprise weekend in Clifden next month for Eileen's birthday )

Good afternoon, raining here. Fan belt screeches a bit on the LT so I thought I would check it out, yep, its loose. To get good access to the engine its best to take the drivers seat out, easy job. Then it rained so I went indoors. Forgot all about the seat, now its all wet. Noticed the cambelt looks about as old and wrinkly as me as well so this can now all be done together then. Along with oil change etc. Oh joy......

Think I told this story before, ripped the cam belt of one of them six cylinder diesel engines, think I could work out the run for the new belt, everyone in the garage had a go, had everyone stumped, ended up having to to the local VW dealer and get a photo copy of the page in the manual showing how it wound its way round all the pullies, my advice take a picture before you remove the old one...
