Yesterday my youngest lass Joanna, took us out to lunch down the Meadows, not far from where she lives and works, well I had no idea what had happened to the place, it is an ultra modern new town on the site where the old infirmary used to be, new hotels, restaurants ,bars and shops ,it was like being on holiday in another city, just love the place, as the festival is in full swing the place was really busy, thousands of tourists milling around I felt so proud, the area is a credit to the city, just wonder if the trams will ever reach that far ? what do you think Minty?

Southside D ,it's university territory, the best way to explain it to you would be!!! Surgeons Hall, over to Bristo Square and it is all round that area, I have never witnessed a transformation like it, but the nice thing is they have merged the old historical buildings with the new and it really works, the new places are mostly smoked glass and chrome so the old places still look impressive

Well the camper van is pretty much finished. 2 weeks ahead of schedule no less, well the inside anyway. Yesterday I took Freddies little learner car for MoT and it passed of course.   So I have booked in camper van for Monday. My confidence is not so high on this, its not been used for 5 years but Patsy has a day off work for Freddies birthday, hes 20 ffs! So I can leave it for repairs if neccessary. May well be brakes, I managed to break 3 bleed nipples last week on it, but it does now have brakes,,,,,, of sorts.   Got the insurance for it today, £212.50p fully comp. I like being old...... Credit where credits due, it was Adrian Flux brokers that provided it. 365 days free European cover too! Could be the cheapest way to Tenerife then....... I see Ryanair have had their knuckles rapped today. Like they care..... 

I just waited 30minutes on a haggis supper getting delivered, feckin' chip shop is only 5 minutes away! No tip for chip boy then... It was nice though!

Thats up past Greyfriars Bobby. We stopped at the corner there for a bite to eat. Sorry now we didn't continue down the street,

Haggis supper, fried shite then, I like haggis but not deep fried.

Just had a little kip, woke up and the screen was blank. looks like I have misssed Kev too, shame.
