What are you doing today??
The plan is to drop back the car the night before, go back to GDS, leave the Wild Geese @ 2am. Go back to the apt, pack, quick shower and taxi to the airport. I'll sleep on the plane. Simples

So why would you want to have a shower half way up a mountain in no mans land when you are already in the next village to the airport?........

Re: What are you doing today??
Talking, Phones 4U gone belly up. Airports, Monarch are next. M1 was a mess today near Luton, too many peeps with jobs trying to get to work then. Temporary traffic lights between mine and Downham Market, been there for well over a week, been held up numerous times, no workers, no hole in the road, just cones and traffic lights. Guess they cant find a Paddy to swing a shovel.......

There is a sign, contractors working on behalf of BT apologise for any delay.

Re: What are you doing today??
Went to see an out of the box condition Morris 1000 traveller, WTF Now i could tear into these old folk that know feck all about condition 1 classics, but i dont, I smile nicley and say "very nice car but it isnt for me thank you" But i sat on the wall with the best bacon sarnie i have ever had, I mean it was just yummy, 130 mile round trip but had a nice day,
Then i went down hill, eldest brother asked me to peer through mothers windows because somebody told him while i was in Tenerife the rogue brother had taken anything that wasnt bolted down,
He had after being told by mothers solicitor that everything was to be sold at auction,
I have just fired off an email saying that they better involve the police because two thirds belong to me and the eldest, Probably enough to buy a bacon sandwhich at Kirby Longsdale, but its the principle innit, Meanwhile Mother still hasnt had a funeral, she died 12th July
Priority to get what you can and worry about her funeral later on eh,
And there is nothing i can do about it

Very strange situation that I have no wish to dwell over, but I recall you mentioning your brother had intimated foul play, so what is happening, is the finger being pointed at anyone, have the police interview anyone, how and when will the matter conclude...

Re: What are you doing today??
Solicitors get paid whatever so they dont give a shite, monday i asked them to involve the police,
No reply as yet. I believe if rogue brother could legaly bury mother without our agreement he would have done by now, I asked solicitor about this also, No reply as yet, today i should be hearing form the solicitors head partner i have formaly complained to, Trump card will be to inform him their firm does a lot of work for Janets firm and Janet is very well thought of by the bosses there,
Once i set about something i dont give up, I have been letting eldest brother deal with it up to now,
Trouble is he is as weak as a kitten, so after this it will be law society, been there before and won so it dont scare me with the correct spelling and fancy grammar,
Like Gypsy said if this was a book nobody would believe it,

Re: What are you doing today??
Booked a Thomas Cook flight last night to bring me back to uk. I was expecting to have to use the added security thingy for the card but no. Then it told me the flight is a Thomson flight???? Still cant put in my API details, all very strange. Anyway I have two and a half days on rock next week.

Re: What are you doing today??
Hello all, been very busy lately painting the whole house inbetween jobs, just finished as I write and now ready to fit the laminate flooring next week.
Still not done my reviews from my holiday which now feels like a distant memory
Going to Maga on the 5th October, me and Debbie always go around that time for 3 nights as most of you know BUT this year its just me, the mil has snapped her ankle the same one she done 10year ago, its pinned and plated yet again and to make matters worse she had a knee replacement on her other leg so cant walk at all. Was going to cancel the whole trip but Debbie told me to get myself away and see the lads so thats whats happening and it feels pretty weird going without her after all these years.
Hope everyone is doing well and Reg still counting his money

Re: What are you doing today??
Recovering from last night , my daughters and sons in law took us out for my birthday as we won't be here on the 29th ,had a lovely night ,good food and drink but more importantly great company, there were 5 birthday parties in the restaurant at the same time, the place was buzzing, lots of cards and nice presents [not opened yet you understand] so the suitcases have been dusted and are ready to pack so roll on Tuesday
