Mermaid has just phoned. Mischief Maker and her got on a train and went to Edinburgh. They are now having drinky-poos in the Playhouse theatre before "Cats" begins. She'll like that!.

Re: What are you doing today??
I had a bad start today, Had one of mine mot'd yesterday and last night i noticed 6 advisorys on it, all of them complete blox, i went back this morning guns blazing and got him to show me what he thought he saw . Upshot being it was re'tested and given a clean bill of health, cheeky bleeders, now if that was Joe public they would be panicking and part with a load of dosh, I pointed out to the lad i have been doing it longer than he has been on the planet, I'm calm now,

Trying to earn a few extra, fraudulent that is and should be treated as such. As should all the shops that hike prices then put sales tickets on.
See we are no longer AAA credit rating, third world innit, hopefully those that have come from similar for a better life will now feck off to another AAA listed country and ruin that.

Re: What are you doing today??
They failed me over here once for a tail light being too bright. Turned out the examiner was a fella that got the sack from a place I used to work and he didn't like me! Poor bassa, I reported him and he got suspended from the new job as well. Some people have no luck

Re: What are you doing today??
Jobs worths, I think the lad didnt know it was mine or he wouldnt have done it, I have always said the ministry should do the testing like they do with commercials, Simon the boss is in tenerife, John who he left in charge likes to show a good turn over for when he gets back, The tester wants to keep in the good books, but a breakdown in comunications caused my blood preasure to rise, i wont be saying anything because i also want to keep it smooth,

Re: What are you doing today??
I have 5 seats that I took out of a minibus last year. They were in the back of the shed and I said to myself "I might as well sell these, never going to use them myself". Now the shed has been packed with all the stuff I took in from the garden over the winter, and of course, the seats were at the back. I had to climb over seats ( other ones I got from my current van), lawnmower, patio furniture, bikes, fertiliser spreader ( now broken), a pram that we bought 13 years ago for the eldest ( hardly used) and assorted tins of paint from the last 15 years. After much pulling and dragging, I eventually emerged victorious with the aforementioned seats. The only trouble is that with all my efforts, i tore 3 of the seats. I reckon they have halved in value now
