I hit my thumb nail a good one once, but worked with a guy called Jimmy at one time, loads off screams coming from under a truck one day, I go over to see what's going on , he'd twatted his thumb with a hammer, it was just a flat thing flapping around at the end of his hand, was off work for months...

I woke up on Saturday morning with a wee red pimple/bite on my toe next to my little toe. Sunday morning the red mark was bigger and I was limping. Today the red covers the whole of the toe and I'm still limping. Very tender and even the duvet weight on it wakens me. 
I'm in Aviemore now, so it will either kill me or cure itself. Bloody tender though.
