Got the salmon from Asda they used to do two fillets for £4.00, if bought individually £2.50 a piece then they stopped the deal plus the fillets got smaller, I then discovered if you asked them to cut the fillets from the whole side of salmon you could get two large fillets for about £4.00,,, what we had last night was enough for three people, the side of salmon on the counter was hardly worth asking the assistant to cut two portions out of so I took the lot, £5.75 it was...

Went to Frankie and Bennie's, I had Pork and beef meatballs "Al Forno" with penne pasta in a bolognese sauce. Scrumptious it was but the portion was far too big for me.

Yip, you've seen it before, wanted something simple and tasty tonight so went for it again,,, but think I made the same mistake again, one of them Asda gammon steaks with topping is enough for two, just had boiled potatoes on the side with it, didn't even touch them and only got halfway through it,,, so left overs for a reheat,,, yum...

Well it was a late start tonight so it's still cooking, be ready 20 minutes or so, spagboll, industrial cook tonight as freezer was getting low, that pot holds about a dozen portions, may turn some of it in to lasagna...

Ain't tasted it yet but it will be 10/10...

I was wrong about the dozen portions, got 14 out of it, couldn't be arsed turning any of it in to lasanga, them freezer dishes hold two portions plus the two we had last night 14...

Having that chicken, garlic, peppers, onion and potato dish tonight, just one chicken tonight, well there's only two of us...

Well the tuna didn't happen, opted for chicken Caesar salad, nice easy cook, but something was wrong, chicken, couple of lettuce leafs, baby tomatoes, croutons and Caesar sauce, but something was wrong, first couple of mouthfuls don't taste right, then I remember, Parmesan cheese shavings are still in fridge, quickly added, yum...

Still got ingredients from tuna dish, will have that over weekend sometime...

Went to Harvesters for lunch today and had 3 starters as main meal. Pork meatballs in a lovely spicy tomato sauce, king prawns in garlic with a slice of garlic bread and chicken breast strips in buttermilk and rosemary batter. 9/10!

Yes, I popped it in the slow cooker with just enough coke to cover, then to finish off put it in the oven covered in honey, soya sauce, ginger and cinnamon and baked for 30 min, delicious all sticky and enough for sarnies tomorrow.
