See what I have to put up with...I've shown her Golden eagles, Pinemartins, Scottish wildcat (1), lochs, glens, mountains, scenery that would make you cry....you can take the girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the girl...

She won't slum it Vince. It would have to be glamping and I don't see the point of that when for the same money you can have all the comforts of home with En Suite and what have you...full Scottish breakfast cooked for you after you've had a nice glass of fresh orange juice and a nice bowl of cereal. Finish off with a couple of slice of toast and marmalade...or maybe you prefer a yoghurt, followed by some kippers? ...I love going B&B! Checked with the guy that they have Wifi or it would have been a non-starter, so we're OK there. They have had brilliant weather up there for the last 10 days, so it'll probably rain when we go!

Seems to be drying up down here, no rain today. Even had a bit of weak sunshine.

Weather forecast is poor. for the weekend.
I only sometimes have a cooked breakfast. I prefer maybe scrambled egg and toast and of course coffee. LR has the full works.
Yes I prefer comfort and a shower.

Is that the old "Let's burn this old pile of leaves" trick? I actually found one in my garden waste bin just before I was wheeling it out to the dustbin cart. I'd left leaves in bin liner bags and the bloody thing must have crawled in to hibernate over the winter. I just threw the bag in the bin. It was while I was putting in the second bag I saw the grass cuttings moving in the bin! Lucky bugger!
