Ryanair up to it's tricks again!!
Ryanair is 'courting disaster' by flying planes with near-empty fuel tanks to cut costs

I am always dubious about Ryanair headlines, are they really as bad as they seem or do they just do it for publicity. Whatever they are up to it certainly gets everyone talking.

..."operating on limits of legality"... well, it's legal then. When he crosses those limits, then we can start shouting!

Just bought tickets for November and December. 3 out of 4 are Ryanair. I have no complaints about them. Always on time. The odd one out is Monarch, a homeward leg anyway so I could care less if its on time. Interesting bit is Monarch charge nowt extra if you pay via paypal. Worth 6 quid then against Ryanair for each leg of journey.....

Are you not going this winter Dave? My flights: Nov 1st one week, Dec 11th one week. I also have a return flight booked for Oct 4th, (couldnt resist at £40) but no outward yet.

I have a lot of time for Ryan air, I take people and airlines as I find them and have always found Ryan air to be very good, if you stick by their rules you won,t go far wrong, I will never forger the excellent way we were treated when Edinburgh airport was closed a couple of winters ago and we were stranded in Lanzarote ,Ryan air put us up in a **** hotel and refunded our expenses very quickly, long before our travel insurance coughed up with our delay costs, have flights booked with them for January to T.F,S

I know people who still haven't got their expenses back following the Icelandic volcano debacle. I'd agree with Searcher, stick with the rules and you won't go far wrong but its not a nice experience .

Re: Ryanair up to it's tricks again!!
Flew with Ryan Air a couple of times but mainly use Monarch or Thomas Cook as they’re Manchester opposed to Liverpool, I take nothing to do with the bookings so have no admin aggro, but have to say Monarch / Thomas Cooks trolley dolly bitches / bitch’he’s are so head up their own arse’s,,, you want a newspaper, NO,, next you want a magazine, NO,, then you want to order an in-flight meal,, NO, NO, NO,,, “I want alcohol, fu#king alcohol”, well if you do sir please make sure you do order enough for the whole flight as we‘re so fu#king lazy we won’t bring you another one...
Ryan Air, the cabin door shuts, you want a drink, YES, if you want another one just press the button,, sorted...........
Oh, we don’t have enough fuel in the tank to get us there,,, who gives a shit...
