Seems like his word against hers. If there is no evidence to the contrary, I can't see how he can be convicted...

I think he will be found guilty. His life is ruined anyway. As to if she is telling the truth,I sit on the fence as I am not sure.

OK, I am confused.  He was named even though he hadn´t been tried so everyone assumed that there is no smoke without fire, yet the accuser cannot be named even though he has been found not guilty.  Does this mean she is under age or does it mean that anyone can make any accusation they feel like and get away scott free because nobody knows who they are?

Even though he has not been found guilty, he is going to have a hard time there are always some who will believe he did it.

Correct decision by the jury. She says he did, he says he didn't. No evidence to back anything up, there's only one fair outcome otherwise we'll be back to the days of "she's a witch!" And those poor women had no chance!

Very difficult to ever be innocent if accused of any child abuse. Recently we had an accusation made against us, although it was totally unfounded and dates did not add up. The services immediately concluded that the Childs bruising did not happen in our care but the mothers and was actually due to a fall. The mother scared made another claim against us which was pathetic and she had done similar before, what happened to us, effectively suspended as carers but when reinstated we were offered no placements. We gave up as carers after 17 years with a perfect record, as do many carers wrongly accused, in fact over 75%. No wonder the UK is crying out for carers.

What's the betting on his mate Kens (Bill Roach) going the same way...
