Agreed. They'll say "Yes", he'll say "no". Case dismissed.

Tarbuck should be done for claiming to be a comedian.

Has anyone actually followed this case or are you like me, and completely disinterested in all these "Yewtree" prosecutions?

Re: Jimmy Savile sex allegations.
That is good, if there was a case to prove and he was found guilty then he deserves everything he gets, what annoys me is people like Jim Davidson, Michael le Vell, and Bill Roach have all had their careers ruined or ended up with depression etc because someone decided to jump on the bandwagon.

Betcha Clifford will get out on appeal. Considering all the other bandwagon jumpers in the other cases, anything less than airtight with him will lead to an insufficient evidence" verdict

Re: Jimmy Savile sex allegations.
<<<
There was "insufficient evidence" to prosecute on most claims, the Crown Prosecution Service said.
There was "a realistic prospect of conviction" on one complaint, but it was not in the public interest to prosecute, <<<<
I would suspect that the first statement is true and the second one is just to save face after arresting him in 2012. If there was ANY prospect of conviction they would have done it just to save face. They should name and shame all those who are making the accusations and investigate why - probably find he ignored their advances and they never got over it.

Re: Jimmy Savile sex allegations.
8 years seems a bit harsh to me, compared to some of the pathetic sentences that get given down these days, but then again I'm just a man......

Roy Whiteing should have swung but in reality will probably be out in a few years, if it had been young boys he had touched up, the catholic judge would have let him off.

I'm pretty certain he lived in Ireland for a few months and is the No.1 suspect in the disappearance of a 9 year old girl here.

Re: Jimmy Savile sex allegations.
It makes you wonder when the prisoner that attacked him with a razor got a 6 year sentence for assault. They should have reduced his sentenced for him trying to do society a favour.

Ah, I thought that, then you read the small print:-
"Sentencing the PR man, Judge Anthony Leonard said he had groomed and degraded his victims.
Mr Leonard ruled that Clifford should serve his eight sentences of between six and 24 months consecutively."
Didn't follow the case in detail, but suspect they were a load of wannabes and were prepared to do whatever (as they did) to get what they wanted, never really liked the man, but did he lock them in and rape them, or could they have chosen to leave if they wished, my understanding is the latter...

So Rolf has been found guilty Daily Mail I hope he gets sent down for a long time, if he did it then there should be no leniency now just because of his age. Lock him up and throw away the key.
