Re: REVIEW - Placeres - Los Abrigos
I am so pleased you enjoyed the delight of dining at PLACERES again and that you have taken the time to appraise it on your 'musings' blog. Pablo and his team have worked so hard to create a successfull restaurant in a very difficult trading climate, as i know him as a friend he truly values revue's that are truthfull good or 'bad'.. though i am pleased to know that as you mentioned so eliquently yesterday in another thread, out of 102 appraisals only 3 were negative and i very strongly suspect that 2 of those were very spurious, especialy the one that bore no relevance to the restaurant it was written to derogate me . Thanks again and best regards to you and all the members. Joel.Gypsy wrote:This is the night we went and had to miss Joel, HERE Yep, consistently good

Re: REVIEW - Placeres - Los Abrigos
Hi All, Gypsy has just P.M.d me to ascertain whether Pablo (PLACERES) will be serving Christmas Dinner, I do know that he is opening for Luncheon but he is unsure at this moment whether he will be staying open for xmas night. As soon as he makes his decision I will inform you. I can tell you all that I plan to be singing for my supper at PLACERES on the 21st of November and may hopefully see some of you there. Best regards to you all.

Really pleased for Pablo and restaurant PLACERES...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] phew I hope this link works it's took an hour to copy, it's a 'telly' program featuring El Medano, Los Abrigos and 30minutes in.... Pablo and PLACERES dead chuffed and well deserved.

Re: REVIEW - Placeres - Los Abrigos
Enjoyed that. The bit re: Placeres is actually 35.30 minutes in. Brought back memories. Seems much longer than 2 weeks since we were there.

Re: REVIEW - Placeres - Los Abrigos
Think Pablo has been eating a few of his puddings or maybe the camera angle didn't do him justice. I am so pleased for him that I have reblogged the vid for midnight tomorrow.
