Mermaid said what is wrong, he said "you got a short" she said I know, but what is wrong with the car. "PISTON BROKE", bloke said, Mermaid replied, that was weeks back when we came back from Tenerife, but he is sober now. "Also, shit in the car bretter", Cam farts a lot in the car but don't thing he could do any better.

Re: What are you doing today??
today I had a fabulous Birthday present come through.
As I went to the U2 360 tour and am a Fan club member, I have been sent a stunning Book with rare footage of the concerts and 2 CD's of live recordings from the 360 tour. The quality is exceptional and they can't be bought. U22 is the title, for club members only. Played it all day, probably up there with my very bast albums and I do have a few.

Start a thread on it Elle. Tell everyone what it's about, why he wrote it etc. A wee bit of publicity never hurts...

Thanks Cam. I will do then... thanks! I'll do it nearer the time though when he's ready to publish, if that's okay? It's all about his recent walk but also covers some other stuff too. xxx

Re: What are you doing today??
we're going to a wedding at Balbirnie House in a couple of weeks, so went and had a shooftie...
Had a walk round the gardens...
Bloody Image hosting thingy has stopped working...I'll put the rest on later.
Trying again...
Went for a meal at the Fettykill Fox in Leslie...
Lovely grub...Herb crusted loin pork with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud, roasted parsnips and mixed veg. Smashing 9/10!
Finished off with a wee walk over an old abandoned railway viaduct...

They have them in Tenerife though, we'll be having them for dinner tonight as well as parsnips and roasties, starting to make me hungry think I'll turn the oven on and give them another quick beating, the yorkshires, not the parsnips

OH in the shower, I'm all ready and we are just going to see what the new Route 66 looks like after its makeover. See you guys Tuesday. Yeah I know maybe a quick look in tomorrow but I am off to Santa Cruz tomorrow for a bit of retail therapy.
Also going again on Thursday, but that will be just a girlie day with Cru so we should have a great time she already has a shopping list

Have a look in the Real Funky shop Gypsy. It is bottom end of the main street on the right hand side if you are walking South. Have a nice time.Gypsy wrote:OH in the shower, I'm all ready and we are just going to see what the new Route 66 looks like after its makeover. See you guys Tuesday. Re: What are you doing today??
Just got my baby sparrows to fly. Every year I have a sparrow and a starling pair nest in my eaves. When I did my conversion I built two purpose built nesting boxes. If they come out of the nest they have a good chance of survival as they fall on to my conservatory. The worse they do is land in the gutter. I make them scamper up the conservatory roof, flapping. They eventually rn the full length and usually land in a bush or tree and I have to get me wood and put them back. Then you get some that just launch into flight.

Today I am talking to myself again. I dont mind, intelligent conversation innit. I fixed my boiler just in case we get a cold snap, nowt would surprise me this year. Mixture needed adjusting, zero pennies then.
