Just back from the Stone Roses gig in Dublin. Unfeckinbelievable! Saw then 17 years ago in Cork and they were brutal that day. I've never been to a concert before where the crowd knew the words to every single song. Spine tingling!

I am worried come 22nd August Ian Brown's voice will be fecked.
Heard him on Y-Tube and his singing sounds o.k.....let's hope it keeps up.

Re: What are you doing today??
The sound there was only ok CC. Make sure you stay in the middle cos anything out to the sides was poor. Brown had a go at the sound desk at one stage and things improved after that. All that said, it was worth every penny. Am seriously thinking of going to the Belfast gig.

Thats true . Mind you, I don't think there is a better front man than him these days ( maybe Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream)

Yeah he's a great front man but it's always Liam Gallagher for me.

My brother has 2 cats and my daughter took wee Macie round to see them. Bloody cat was arching it's back and making weird noises...didn't like the baby in "his" house.

Re: What are you doing today??
In the words of one of the Simpsons (Eat my shorts) I never watch it but i heard it
Today Mathew i changed the basin taps in my bathroom, Its the 4th ones this week ?,
For a while they have been annoying me so when doing a plumbers van this week i said change the taps, Simple ? Er no, When i went to bed that night i turned them on and soaked my nads , So I asked him to change them, He said they wont be cheap Did i ask for cheap ?, That night i went to bed last and when i turned them on it sounded like a war broke out , Er Brian i have a racket - (Oh thats your pipes banging) ? Blox i thought but he came back and turned the pressure down, Then if you was in the shower and somebody flushed the toilet or something Nada ?, Er Brian come sort my plumbing, Brian said thats the way it is sorry ?, So today i went and bought some taps and changed them again, i turned the pressure back up and alls well now, 10 years ago i wouldnt ask anybody to do anything i did it myself, But i try to spread a bit of happiness about now, On tuesday Brian will be calling for his van, I shall spend a bit of time thinking of ways for him to remember him crossing my path, nothing sinister just a story he will tell for many moons to come . I once did a job for that Reg bloke, And do you know what happened - Well he Blah Blah Blah, I hope he has a sense of humour

Re: What are you doing today??
Jumped in the car to go for a meal and switched ignition on. Started but didn't sit at idling like it usually does, but dropped to about 100rpm then cut out. Noticed engine management light was on..blox! It's been sitting out all week in the rain without being started and I think the damp must have got to the electrics. Anyhoo, up to Farmers (like Kwik-Fit, but better), "Do you have an engine diagnostic tester?" says I, "We do", says he. "Give us the keys and you bugger off up the town while we give it a shooftie". Phone goes about an hour later, "We got 2 faults, Fuel injection and engine misfiring, but we reset them and the lights have gone out and car is running OK". "Eureka!", says I, "How much?". "Nada", says he. "You're a good man", says I. "Me and the missus is going for a meal, we'll be down later to pick it up". Sorted! And the meal was only £23 pound!

Re: What are you doing today??
I dont want to cause harm or anger on his part, I want him to remember me long after the event, So i will play mind games, Plant a seed to grow in his head, Oh by the way here are those taps. The second ones you fitted, Obviously beyond your capabilitys a simple job like a set of taps, No hard feelings but i did it myself, Oh i think your van should be ok but dont drive fast or go far . If i was him i would be embarrassed
