Re: What are you doing today??
Today I had problems with the sewing. Eventually got round it by using a different needle and thinner thread. Seems to be okay now touch wood. Patsy says she still aint going out in the boat no matter how nice it looks inside so I told her I will get a new cabin bitch.

put the spindles back in the banister, ordered new bottom drawer for the freezer, first you find the freezer code then you spend an hour surfing the net, joiner coming to replace part of the staircase after the flood, decorator been to stain block the ceiling, carpet fitter measured up the hall way, been for 2 stop taps that a fairy could use, Mira shower in bits awaiting parts, changed all flexible hoses that are left before they burst, then i had my lunch
What did you take the spindles out of the bannister for?? Also, white gloss paint will do the same job as stain block but is a lot cheaper

WE have a saying over here, "When God made time, he made plenty of it" ( thats not politically correct now, I'd have to say God, Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah )

Re: What are you doing today??
We went to the auction last week and whilst waiting to pay for our stuff we met a lovely couple. The people in front of us ask Peter where they could get a bus or taxi to Los Cris. I said we are going that way, would they like a lift. So a lift it was and on the way they said they were going for Fish and chips, did we fancy some. In kindness they offered to pay in return for the lift. We said, no thanks as we were eating out later, but we told them of Stuart's Cod and chips at Lazy Daze, they asked to go there.
We went to Lazy Daze and they had great fish and chips and bought us a drink. We were ask if we would like to go to their place one day for lunch. They live in the stand alone places right down the end of Los Cris past Arona Gran and the nudist beach.
Yesterday we went for lunch consisting of homemade soup and bread which was fabulous. After lunch we went for a little drive and had coffee in Los Abrigos.
We were going for Chinese in the evening and these nice people joined us. I picked them up and we went to the slow boat in Peurto Colon, when the bill came we were not allowed to pay, which is a bit embarrassing but it was in return still for being so kind. We then went back to their place for coffee, which was an end to a nice evening.
Just goes to show there are more nice people out there than just us lot on here.
I look forward to doing this again but also look forward to doing same with you buggers.
Now, talking of which when are you off again Mrs Gypsy, are we off out before, do we pop up for afternoon tea? do you want some bits for K9? do you want me to take you to airport for Seville? but most of all are you both well after being in the cold UK and spending so much of your hard earned.

Re: What are you doing today??
In reply to Topdog, We are both well and we will take stuff for K9 whenever anyone has anything. I am out this afternoon because I missed lunch with Cru on Wednesday due to collecting dogs from kennels so doing it today instead. Give us a call or just pop up over the weekend, don´t think we are going anywhere special so should be around.

All in now and looking good. Will put up piccies later on when all the curtains with matching duvets are on and photos are hung on the walls, probably after the weekend 'cos the new windows are bigger than the old ones and I'll need new curtain poles.

Re: What are you doing today??
Looks like Mary's found the wife swapping scene already, bit more up market than the dogging that goes on at that beach anyway. Talking of beaches have been to Wells again today, on the lookout for a new cabin bitch but none there, blowing a gale and squally showers it was. Central heating is on.........
