Yesterday knew we were going to be in a bit of a rush cos we were going to the qiuz and the fridge was bare, so was passing Asda, thought will get one of their ready meals but nothing caught my eye, then I came upon there fresh pasta, so...

1 x Pack of their fresh own brand cured ham and grana padano cheese egg pasta pillows £1.85
1 x Their own brand tomato and marcarpone cheese sauce £1.35
    1 x Bag spinach £1.50
    1 x Lemon £0.30

    Total cost £5.00

Cooking, wash spinach, sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and nutmeg, place in steamer pan with three slices of lemon on top, bring water to boil in steamer base pan, add the pasta for four minutes, place spinach on top when two minutes to go, this softens and heats spinach leave without turning them in to a mush, at the same time sauce in microwave for four minutes, when pastas done drain and return to pot, pour in sauce and mix, arrange spinach on plate like a birds nest, place pasta in the middle of it, grind of black pepper, yum, not bad for £2.50 a head and a four minute cook, all washed down with with a nice red...

Today Mathew its a carvery, will be heading down to Cheadle to meet up with Annies dad and sister, place we go to its £3.99 for the carvery, for that you get a yorkshire pudding and three slices of either chicken, beef or ham, I normally go for two beef and one ham, then as much roast potatoes, leek, cheesy colawflower, carrots, peas, onions , mashed potatoes and gravy as you want, not bad for under  four quid, tomorrow (Sunday) price doubles...
After fed and watered its a short taxi ride to a local pub for a few more beers and a few games of pool, Annies dads 82 and we'd have him on our pool team any day, we normally play the best of five games and its 50/50 who wins, then we play three games of doubles, Me and Annie versus her dad and sister, they're both crap so that can go either way,,,  that will take us till about eight o'clock then it's back in to town, not home, town, Annies meeting up with her mates for a night out so I'll hit the local for a few more games of pool with the lads,,, it's a hard life being sociable...

Last couple of Friday I've been up at the bar where most of my mates drink, not my local, the bar like my local has two pool teams, the max for a bar cos when one teams at home the others away,,, well two weeks ago there's a very nice display above the bar of the trophies and shields the pub teams picked up in the last year, it's an old building and the ceiling must be twelve  feet up, three were big shields with four or five trophies either side, last week only two shields,,, I'm at the bar with my mate who's captain of one of the pub teams, I say to him and the landlady, why only two shields,,, silence, I push the question,,, oh, one fell off and twatted a punter on the head,,,, claims for us .com me thinks, I asked is it on security video,,, no answer..........

As previously mentioned I'v had a few sinus operations, last one they drilled holes somewhere between my nose and throat, so sometimes now when I'm eating if I cough or sneeze food particles end up somewhere in the back of my nose, a very anoying and uncomfortable feeling let me tell you, so one night was having this takeaway,  a very spicy chicken jalfrezi,  full of slices of chilli it was, I cough while getting tore in to it, piece of chilli ends up in back of nose, feck me my heads on fire from the inside, bathroom sink full of water sucking it up my nostrils, took about half a hour to dislodge the little fecker, even then the stinging went on for hours, tell me about it 3rd...

Oh, how you and the Sterimar getting on.........

Three here as well, four if you count the time the doctors had to break it to reset it, the first two times didn't get it fixed, then I started having breathing problems so had to get it sorted, last time must have been about a year back, having a bit of a late night drink with one of my mates, we're well hammered, sitting at the bar he has his head in his hands and is falling asleep, I notice the bar staff eyeing him up, thinking we're going to get chucked out I shake him on the shoulder to wake him up, quick as a flash he lashes out twatting me right on the nose,,, with friends like that who needs enemies...
