Re: Where are you today?
Minty, much appreciated pal but we're going to my sister in law's surprise birthday party at the golf club. Elizabethan is still there but whether or not it still has a pool table, I've no idea. I haven't been out drinking in Dunfermline for decades!

Party,,, where's this golf club then....
We drove past the Elizabethan earlier today and sign outside said "Pool", so we will probably give it a go...
Planning to head of south tomorrow morning, that's if the trains are running, but listening to the news it sounds as if things are getting back to normal...
Shame to miss both of you, but think Tenerifes a better meeting place, its feckin Baltic here...

Re: Where are you today?
We did head the Elizabethan last night, ain't changed much sinc I was ther at least five years back, only three pool tables now, five the last time, downside it's a seven pound taxi ride from my mates so may be a longtime before I'm back...

Yes get it but can´t be arsed to fiddle about only to find out I am in Woodhouse, Leeds. Who would want to be in Woodhouse when you could be down the road in Headingley having a cuppa

Re: Where are you today?
Its all a bit confusing about Woodhouse My paper round took in Little Woodhouse street which is nowhere near the main Woodhouse Lane area near the University, Also my first house looked over Woodhouse Square, but was in the Park Lane area, a conservation area that was allowed to be run down by landlords who didnt give a shite,
St Annes school in Woodhouse Square was attended by Jimmy Saville, Thats been pulled down and is a carpark now,Conservation at its best, Go figure All within sight of Leeds Town Hall
